Awaken the Healer Within: Tools to Heal, Align, and Rise

We all have the ability to heal ourselves. An essential part of being a good healer is being able to discern what needs to be healed and navigate a treatment plan. I take a balanced, holistic approach, which means I don't rule out Western medicine. Although my first choice is always a natural approach to healing, I respect the help Western medicine can bring.

For example, when you are trying to identify the problem -- medical tests, lab work, and a physical exam can be beneficial. Whether I am healing myself or others, I appreciate having a complete understanding of what is going on. On several occasions while working with clients, I've sensed through their energy that they have issues with their blood pressure. I immediately tell them I feel their blood pressure is high and that they need to have it checked out by a doctor. If the doctor feels they need medication, I support that decision. Then we can work on exploring what lessons the high blood pressure is bringing them.

Intuitive healing, a process of tapping into one's inner wisdom and energy to guide the healing journey, played a significant role in my recent health challenges. I combined this approach with seeing a holistic medical doctor and undergoing lab work. Because I was not certain what was physically going on, I waited to start doing my intuitive healing.

This process started because I had not had an annual physical in several years. A few weeks before the blood work, I started feeling extremely tired with achy arms and legs and nausea in the late afternoons. I hoped the lab results would show why I was not feeling well. The doctor slowly read all the results and then announced to me I had non-alcoholic fatty liver and my kidneys were not working well.  He said those issues were probably the cause of how I had been feeling.

Very surprised about his diagnosis, as I have never had kidney problems. About 25 years ago, I did have a problem with elevated liver enzymes, but never received an official diagnosis. I was very ill; the only test left they did not do was a biopsy of my liver.  Once I got out of the hospital, I focused on my healing. When I went to see the doctor to schedule the liver biopsy, the doctor was shocked to see that all liver enzymes had normalized.

For my current liver issues, I faithfully followed all the protocols the doctor gave me. After a few weeks, I added my healing work. Within a few days, I had a strong feeling the fatty liver problem was gone. At the end of 30 days, we retested my blood — my liver was completely back to normal.

However, we discovered a new problem. I had a non-symptomatic raging UTI with multiple strains of bacteria. Thank goodness my intuition insisted I add a urine analysis to my lab work, even though the doctor had not ordered it.

"One of the best things you can do as a healer is FOLLOW your INTUITION.

Do not be afraid to speak up and tell your doctor if there are specific tests

or remedies you would like to try. If I had not taken the initiative to order a

urine analysis for myself, the UTI would probably have spread to my kidneys."

When working with a doctor, I view our relationship as a partnership. I always honor my intuition and guidance from my Spirit Guides, remaining open to all possibilities. This partnership provides

a sense of reassurance and support, ensuring that all aspects of my health are considered and addressed.

Benefits of becoming your own healer.

All healing is enriched by understanding and applying self-healing techniques. The more you can embrace and embody healing, the better the outcome you will experience. The notion that you only need to show up for the healer to 'fix you' is outdated. If you receive a healing session and then return home and continue your unhealthy habits, your healing will be compromised. It's crucial to be an active partner in your healing journey, engaging in the 'homework' your healer assigns and consistently doing your inner work to bring about lasting change.

I encourage you to be an active partner with your healer. If they give you 'homework,' such as maintaining a healthy diet, practicing mindfulness, or doing specific exercises, do it! Remember, to change a habit, it takes 21 days of consistently doing your inner work.

If you tap into your self-healing abilities, the outcome of your sessions with a healer will be much stronger.  Does that seem like a contradiction, that you would bring your healing skills to a session with a healer? You might even think, "If I can heal myself, why would I use another healer?

I like to be open to all types of help. My self-healing will always be my first choice. If I still need more clarity or assistance, I pray for guidance on what direction to take. If I do decide to see another healer, I still do my inner work so I can better communicate what is happening and what I need. I show up as an equal partner, so that together we can join our forces for healing.

Before I dive into the self-healing tips, I want to share a few thoughts about how to choose which methods and healers you may want to try. In my teaching memoir, WISDOM KEEPER, I devoted a chapter to alternative healing options.  I only included things I had personally tried. Out of the 45 healing methods, many did not work for me.  Just because someone has good results from a particular alternative healing method, it doesn't mean it will work for everyone.

I was reminded of this when I recently took on a 40-day meditation challenge. Usually, I go deep very quickly. With the technique they used, I could not get into a meditative state. After diligently trying for 20 days, I decided to replace their technique with something I knew would work for me. That doesn't mean their mediation doesn't work; it just doesn't work well for me.

When I try new healing methods or healers, I usually give them three tries before deciding whether to continue. I show up ready and willing to do the work the healers suggest. I know, as a client and a healer, that doing your work is a vital part of the healing process. You can't make an accurate decision on what works for you if you don't fully participate and do what is asked of you. With my healing clients, I always have homework. There is a significant difference between clients who complete their homework and those who fail to attempt it. If you want lasting change, you must put in the effort.

Chloe's self-healing strategies.

I am a big believer in the power of journaling. It helps to release thoughts that can be swirling around in your head and brings clarity. Like peeling the layers of an onion, keep digging deeper when you journal. Use it as a form of meditation, so that Spirit can speak to you.

OBSERVE: Every day, check in with yourself mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Does anything feel off-kilter? Do you feel grounded, centered, and calm? Do you have plenty of energy?

IDENTIFY: If something is off, determine how it is affecting you emotionally, mentally, physically, or spiritually. Has there been anything new or different in your life recently? It could be something you ate, a new person has come into your life, you had a troubling encounter with another person, you are not sleeping well, or maybe you encountered some significant stress.

DETERMINE: What actions are you going to take to remedy how you are feeling? It could be a combination of modifying your diet, addressing any sleep issues, or writing down some personal goals to help you deal with stressful situations or stressful people. Do you need to connect with a healer to help you? If you are having physical difficulties, do you need to see a medical doctor or have some tests done?

COMMIT: Once you are clear about your 'treatment plan' commit 100% to it. Write affirmations and post them throughout your house so you can easily read them several times a day. If you have seen a healer or a medical doctor, make it a priority to follow their suggestions.

HAVE FAITH and TRUST: You must hold the intention and belief that you will get better. Visualize yourself healthy, strong, happy, vibrant — living an abundant life with passion and purpose.

With all the changes and stress in the world right now, it is essential for you to see and understand what is happening. Many of you may know I am a seer, one who can foresee future events. What makes a seer unique is their more profound understanding of their visions. They don't just predict the future; seers have a deeper understanding of spiritual truths and can offer guidance and wisdom.

I have been hesitant to share the details of what's coming because I don't want to cause any fear. What I will tell you is that things are going to continue to get much darker and more quickly.  If you have not addressed your mind, body, and spirit healing issues, now is the time. Please do not put it off; we are running out of time to prepare.

Recently, Spirit has been giving me opportunities to cleanse, heal, and reset. It has been pretty extraordinary to observe everything that I have experienced in the past 30 days. Every one of them has brought valuable lessons:

  • Severe fatigue and achy legs and arms.

  • Non-alcoholic fatty liver diagnosed (after 30 days, my liver is back to normal functioning).

  • Low-grade fever and freezing chills (happened three times). It took two wool blankets, a bedspread, a throw, a heavy wool sweater with a hoodie, and two full hours to get warm inside my house, which was 82 degrees. When this happened 25 years ago, my body started going into septic shock.

  • Severe non-symptomatic UTI with multiple strains of bacteria.

  • Kidneys are not working correctly. I am guessing that clearing up the UTI will help correct the problem. On the 30-day retest of my blood, the doctor said my kidneys were "almost normal.”

  • Three pre-cancerous spots were treated with cryotherapy. I have never in my life had skin cancer or a spot that was considered pre-cancerous. My regular dermatologist told me several years ago it was unlikely I would ever have skin cancer, since I had not had it by my mid-60s.

  • I have become more introverted (and so have many of my awakened friends). This is happening to protect our energy.

I have always told Spirit I am willing to help with anything. If Spirit feels I can be of more help in another dimension, that would be fine. It feels like Spirit has made a decision, and wants me to continuing helping here on Earth. I feel Spirit is speeding up the process to get me and my body ready to help more people.

To honor these lessons and celebrate that my mind, body, and spirit healed everything that was thrown at me this past month, I am going to  book a special massage with sound healing instruments by Roberto Cuevas Suárez. Music is such a powerful healer and Roberto brings wonderful energy to his work.

If you need help with healing or awakening, I am available for Intuitive Shamanic Energy Healing Sessions (in-person in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico or remotely word-wide); Mediumship Sessions; Life Coaching, and Energy Alignment 30 minute phone calls.

I would love to hear about techniques you use to enhance your healing.

Peace & Blessings,

Chloe

Divine Companions: Spirit Guides

Are you aware that Divine companions surround you all the time? They are there, doing their best to guide and keep you safe. Before you were born this lifetime, Spirit chose them to accompany you through your lifetime, from the moment of your first breath, until your last.

What is a Spirit Guide?

These highly evolved beings have completed the cycle of birth and death in the physical plane and are now serving as teachers and guides to elevate their vibrations further. They are as “real” as you are, but they vibrate at another level and live in another plane of existence.

Usually, Spirt Guides reach you through your dreams and intuition. That quiet voice you hear is often the voice of your teachers and guides. They may also make themselves known through repetitive signs and symbols; they use these to get your attention, so you can discover what they are trying to tell you.

When my Spirit Guides have difficulty getting my attention, they often resort to causing me some physical challenges. The physical problems disappear as soon as I recognize my Guides are trying to reach me, and I understand the message and lessons they are bringing me.

You can have more than one Spirit Guide. I have several, and new ones continue to show up. I trust their process; they are always bringing me guidance and lessons to assist me on my spiritual path.

Some people have archangels and angels as spirit guides. Remember, having an angel appear does not always mean they are your Spirit Guides. Angels can be called in times of distress to assist you for a short time.

Identifying your Spirit Guide

They are always with you, whether you acknowledge their presence. If you want to understand who your guides are, just ask. Start by getting in a quiet meditative space and ask that they reveal themselves to you. Beings from the spiritual realm often communicate through signs and symbols.

Once you ask, you must trust your wisdom. Pay attention to the pictures that appear in your mind. You might see a Native American, a Buddhist monk, or nothing at all. Keep your mind and intuition open. Also, notice if signs, symbols, or messages continue to come up after you ask them to reveal themselves.

Working with your Spirit Guides is a fantastic personal and spiritual growth tool. They dwell in a higher vibrational plane and bring lessons and guidance from other dimensions. You can also ask your Spirit Guides to assist you in physical healing. Before you go to sleep, ask that they do healing work on you.

Life is so much more than what we see. Open your spiritual eyes and hearts, and you will discover a world of wisdom, beauty, and peace you never knew existed. Raise your vibration and allow the beautiful gifts of Spirit to wash over you.
